Job description
As the General Manager for the recently acquired Doubletree by Hilton Wilmington , you will lead all aspects of hotel operations, driving performance, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. You’ll oversee departments, manage budgets, and implement strategies to achieve financial and service goals. Your leadership ensures a well‑run property that delivers exceptional guest experiences and a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
You will be the driving force behind our hotel's success, overseeing all aspects of operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences
Your daily tasks will include managing staff, budgets, and the overall profitability and reputation of the hotel
You will report to the Vice President of Operations
A career as a general manager can lead to various executive‑level opportunities within the hospitality industry, such as regional director, vice president of operations, or even corporate‑level positions
Education & Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field, Highly Preferred
2 - 5 Years of Hotel General Manager Experience, Required
Full Service Experience, Preferred
Hilton Experience, Highly Preferred
GSS Turnaround Experience, Highly Preferred
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Eligible to work in the United States
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
