Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
Hours Per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,260 - $3,870
Setting: Inpatient nocturnist APP coverage
Job Requirements Active Nurse Practitioner license eligible for practice in Texas
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
Ability to work consistent overnight and night shift schedules
Strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced inpatient hospital environment
Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities Provide overnight coverage as a nocturnist APP in an inpatient hospital setting
Assess, diagnose, and manage patients during night shift coverage
Collaborate with physicians, hospital staff, and the care team to support patient care needs
Respond to changes in patient condition and prioritize appropriate interventions
Document patient evaluations, care plans, and updates accurately and efficiently
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the shift
