Overview
A nationally recognized rehabilitation program in Schenectady, NY is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Physiatrist to join a highly respected, multidisciplinary team at a 115-bed acute rehab hospital . This is an excellent opportunity to practice comprehensive inpatient and outpatient PM&R while working with cutting-edge rehabilitation technology and teaching opportunities .
Position: Physician - Physiatry (PM&R)
Location: Schenectady, NY
Practice Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient Rehabilitation

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive PM&R care (inpatient + outpatient)
• Manage complex rehabilitation cases across multiple specialties
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Participate in teaching and training of residents
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation technologies
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation care
Candidate Requirements
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in PM&R - REQUIRED
• Active New York License (or eligible) - REQUIRED
• DEA (must obtain prior to start) - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice history - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Must disclose visa requirement status (No visa support available)
• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) - REQUIRED
• Local candidates within 30 miles cannot be considered
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive package with strong incentives:
• Base Salary: $250,000 - $270,000
• Up to $50,000 in quality incentives
