Client Service RepresentativeVCA Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists is a busy, small animal specialty, emergency, and general practice hospital in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative, in primary veterinary care, to join our team. We are hiring for weekday/weekend daytime shifts at this time and will consider full or part time applicants.We're looking for a personable yet highly professional "service extraordinaire" to join us in a very important support role for our entire hospital. The ideal candidate is a believer of high quality patient care, a devoted team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, and is invested in the success of the entire team. The Client Service Representative role is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease by creating a welcoming environmentAbility to answer a multiline phone systemScheduling and confirming appointmentsAid with admitting and discharging pet patientsInvoicing/billing, processing payments, collection attemptsConflict management, dispute resolution, and de-escalation skills are a mustAbility to work independently, take initiative, and make suggestionsWillingness to learn more regarding; customer care, veterinary services, and medical office proceduresManaging medical records, charts, reports, and correspondencesPresenting and explaining fees, including processing paymentsAssisting in client education regarding preventative care, wellness care plans, etc.Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outsideA passion for helping animals and their ownersWhat VCA OffersJoin our team and you will make a huge difference in the lives of pets and their families!
