General Production / Shipping AssociateWe are hiring a General Production / Shipping Associate for a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility in Gresham, OR. This role begins in shipping and receiving, supporting daily warehouse operations including unloading materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.This is a long-term contract role with strong potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesUnload incoming shipments and materials from trucksMove and organize materials using hand dollies and manual equipmentPlace products into assigned warehouse rack locationsAssist with shipping, receiving, and inventory organizationFollow safety procedures and standard work instructions at all timesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentSupport production teams as needed across departmentsCollaborate with team members to meet daily operational goalsTraining & GrowthFirst-day orientation begins at 7:00 AMApproximately 2-week training periodOpportunity for cross-training in additional production areasForklift certification available after training period (based on performance)QualificationsStrong work ethic and dependable attendanceAbility to follow instructions and safety proceduresComfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environmentAbility to lift, push, and move materials throughout the shiftTeam-oriented with strong communication skillsPrevious warehouse, shipping/receiving, or production experience preferredHiring RequirementsMust pass background check and drug screeningMust be available for full day shift scheduleMust be available for mandatory Saturday overtime when scheduledWhy Apply$24.00/hour starting payConsistent day shift schedule (no swing/night shift)Overtime opportunities availableForklift certification opportunityTemp-to-perm pathway for long-term employmentWork in a structured automotive manufacturing environment
