Job description
General Production WorkerAs a production team member, you will be responsible for driving a tugger and transporting materials to ensure the production line is continuously supplied. Your role involves moving raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods, as well as maintaining packaging and dunnage to support a smooth workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires safe operation of equipment, basic problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Responsibilities:Drive a tugger to transport materials to the production line.Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.Maintain packaging and dunnage to ensure smooth workflow.Operate equipment safely and efficiently.Communicate effectively with team members.Solve basic problems as they arise.Essential Skills:Experience in production and manufacturing.Ability to operate computerized equipment.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in high-volume manufacturing in the automotive industry is preferred.Why Work Here?Enjoy a weekly attendance bonus and a significant raise upon becoming permanent after a three-month. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
