Job description
General Production WorkerLocation: Franklin, INPay: up to $23.61/hrShifts: 1st- 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (2/2/3 schedule)3rd- 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM (2/2/3 schedule)Key ResponsibilitiesLoad raw materials into production equipment.Operate and monitor automated manufacturing lines.Perform quality inspections and document production data.Read specification sheets and follow work instructions.Troubleshoot basic machine issues.Use forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and finished products.Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Follow all safety procedures and company policies.Required QualificationsPrevious manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or general labor experience preferred.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.Ability to read, write, and understand English work instructions.Willingness to be trained on forklift operation.Strong attendance record and job stability.Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Preferred SkillsMachine OperationQuality InspectionMaterial HandlingForklift OperationAssemblyPackaging and ShippingTroubleshootingTape Measure UsageBlueprint ReadingGeneral Production ExperienceJob Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN 46131.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.11 - $23.61/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
