Job description

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: General studies, vascular, and obstetrics experience required. Outpatient, neonatal, and biopsy experience required. Community hospital experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience preferred. Peds / GE Peds experience preferred.
Preferred Credentials: RDMS – Peds preferred.
Special Requests: Prefer no more than two weeks off during the contract period.
Unit Details: Patient population includes neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and emergency room patients. Common studies and procedures include abdominal, pelvic, ectopic, scrotal, thyroid, some carotid studies, paracentesis, FNA, thoracentesis, and some OB studies. Equipment includes portable GE equipment, PACS, and SonoSite. Preliminary notes are written on each case. One patient per hour.
Shift & Scheduling: Call is required one weekday/week and every 4th weekend; holiday call is also required. Call shifts may vary based on staffing needs (M-F until either 6pm or 8pm).
Floating Requirements: Float to Rumford Hospital and Bridgton Hospital.
14 days maximum time off
1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
Proof of identification required for submission

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification S
