Job description

Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Required skills include neonates, biopsies, and Acuson.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Outpatient experience is preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: The patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The preferred patient population includes infants and pediatric patients. Daily caseload varies from 8-20. The assignment may include an outpatient schedule or solo coverage at the hospital. The combined department includes women’s scans, vascular, and general sonography.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: No. Call required: at least once a week. Flexibility is required for changes involving call-offs, extra call, or shift changes, within reason.
Floating Requirements: Floating is between the hospital and outpatient center.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
