Job description
Foundry is partnering with a leading General Contractor looking to appoint an experienced General Superintendent to lead major, ground-up data center projects.
This is a senior field leadership opportunity offering an exceptional compensation package, long-term project pipeline and the opportunity to lead some of the largest and most technically complex construction projects in the country.
For the right General Superintendent, base salary can exceed $250,000.
The Opportunity
As General Superintendent, you will have overall responsibility for field operations across major data center construction projects, leading multiple Superintendents and working closely with Project Executives, Project Directors and MEP leadership.
You will be responsible for:
Overall field leadership of large-scale, ground-up data center projects
Leading Senior Superintendents, Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents
Driving master schedules, sequencing and short-term planning
Managing site logistics and major subcontractor packages
Coordinating complex structural, architectural and MEP scopes
Working closely with MEP teams through energization, commissioning and turnover
Leading subcontractor and field coordination meetings
Maintaining exceptional standards across safety, quality and project delivery
Identifying and resolving constructability and schedule issues
Working directly with senior project leadership, ownership and design teams
Taking projects from mobilization through final turnover
What We're Looking For
We are specifically interested in speaking with General Contractor field leaders with significant data center or mission-critical construction experience.
You will ideally have:
General Superintendent, Lead Superintendent or Senior Superintendent experience
Strong General Contractor background
Experience leading multiple Superintendents and large field teams
Experience delivering large, technically complex construction projects
Strong knowledge of MEP coordination
Experience with commissioning, energization and turnover
Excellent scheduling, logistics and subcontractor management experience
Willingness to travel as required
Experience delivering hyperscale, cloud, colocation or other major mission-critical facilities would be highly advantageous.
