Job description
An established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee multiple large scale projects and field teams throughout the Tampa area.
This senior leadership position will provide operational oversight across the company’s local project portfolio rather than being assigned to one individual project.
Responsibilities
Oversee multiple projects, Superintendents and field teams
Lead safety, quality and field-execution standards
Review project schedules, logistics plans and operational processes
Identify and resolve challenges across active projects
Mentor and develop field leadership
Support preconstruction planning and upcoming pursuits
Maintain consistent standards across all project teams
Qualifications
Proven success leading large, complex projects
Experience across major commercial construction sectors
Strong leadership, mentoring and problem-solving abilities
Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
Preconstruction experience preferred
Construction-related education preferred
Florida construction experience strongly preferred
