nWellSpan Health is seeking a skilled, team-oriented General Surgeon (BE/BC) to join our established surgical team in Chambersburg, PA. This full-time opportunity offers a balanced mix of operative and clinic time, strong physician collaboration, and access to advanced technology—including a robust robotic surgery program.
nScope of Practice – Bread & Butter General Surgery - This position supports a broad mix of general surgery, including:
nSurgical Procedures
nnnHernia repairs

nnCholecystectomy
n
nnBreast tumor excision
n
nnAbdominal and thyroid surgeries
n
nnHernia repairs
n
nnColonoscopy
n

nnDoctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

n nLicenses:
nnnLicensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

nnLicensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

n nCourses and Training:
nnnDiplomate of the American Board of Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. Upon Hire Required and

nnCompletion of a Surgery residency. Upon Hire Required and

nnMust qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required
