The state features heritage sites such as Vicksburg National Military Park and the Natchez Trace Parkway, alongside historic landmarks including Longwood, Stanton Hall, Rosalie Mansion, and Beauvoir, the former home of Jefferson Davis. Outdoor enthusiasts will find water-based activities along the coast and bayous, including kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and swamp tours, while music and arts experiences are available through trails and museums dedicated to blues and country music heritage.
About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide general surgery call coverage on 24-hour shifts at an on-site inpatient facility, with coverage required October 16 through October 19, 2026. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures and maintaining continuous availability for both scheduled and emergent surgical needs throughout each assigned call period. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in General Surgery is not required for this locum tenens engagement.
