Job description
General Surgery- No clinic time just call and possible surgeries if needed
Open Dates:
24 hour call only - no clinic, Friday- Sunday shifts

Call schedule
7a-7a
Expected amount of time in Hospital
2-4 hours per day of rounding, and remaining hours on-call with call-back obligations.
Patient Volume= 3-4 consults/10 pts. on rounds
Support Staff : Hosp. staff only
Will they be solo or have other surgeons on staff? Solo on call

Documentation of Patient Contact Hours
(including call back hours included in the rate and charged call back hours)
Physicians must document in the timesheet the specific reason for the call back and they should have a description such that the note can be validated if an audit report was generated in an electronic health record.
Telephone calls and medical record reviews should not be considered on site call back hours.
