Overview
An established orthopedic practice is seeking a General Surgery Physician specializing in Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgery to join a team of three board-certified orthopedic physicians, supported by mid-level providers. Based in Moultrie, Georgia—about 35 miles from Albany, GA, and 60 miles from Tallahassee, FL—this role offers the chance to build a surgical career within a well-supported, community-oriented practice.
What you'll do
Provide orthopedic foot and ankle surgical care, splitting time evenly between clinic and operating room duties
Work Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Participate in on-call rotation required 7 days per month, with additional compensation for extra call days
Mentor and precept medical students and residents, with additional benefits available for participation
Required qualifications
Completion or near completion of an orthopedic residency and a foot and ankle fellowship
Board certification or eligibility, with a requirement to obtain certification within five years if not yet certified
Possession of a Georgia Medical License or eligibility to participate in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
