Role : Generalist Tax Manager
Location: Alpharetta, GA (hybrid setting with 2-3 days in office)
Pay Range: $130K-$205K/yr DOE (we welcome Supervisor, Manager, and Sr. Manager level candidates to apply!)

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Generalist Tax Manager to join our Client's growingteam. As a Generalist Tax Manager, you will work on various returns, including individuals, partnerships, S-corps, and some trusts/estates/gift taxand nonprofits (depending on your experience in these additional areas); youwill also help train junior staff. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage tax compliance and reporting activities for the firm's clientele, including federal, state, and local tax returns.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and payments.
Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate any potential impact to the business.
Conduct research and provide guidance on tax issues and implications for clients
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are taken into account in business initiatives and transactions.
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience with 1040, 1120S, and 1065
Ideal to have SALT tax experience, and great if you also have experience with trusts/ estates/ gift tax + nonprofits
Strong tax prep experience
CPA certification required for Managers & Sr Managers. If applying as a Supervisor-level candidate, we're happy to speak withcandidates currently taking theCPA exams orthose who've earned EAs (and are working toward/or intend to gaina CPA).
At least 5 years of experience in tax compliance and reporting, preferably in a managerial/ leadership role.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Experience with tax planning and research.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
