The Generator Technician plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing diesel and gas generators to ensure reliable power supply. Working as an individual contributor within a small team, this role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and conducting emergency repairs as needed. The technician must be available for standard shifts, on-call rotations, and occasional overtime during emergencies, with additional incentives offered for highly qualified applicants.
Responsibilities
* Perform generator maintenance on diesel and gas units
* Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults
* Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid equipment failures
* Test equipment and diagnose faults
* Execute emergency repairs promptly
* Document technical procedures and maintenance activities
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance
* Experience with generator maintenance
* Electrical troubleshooting capabilities
* Mechanical repair skills
* Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
* Strong problem-solving abilities
* Effective communication skills
* Familiarity with technical documentation
