Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)Setting: Healthcare FacilitiesJob Type: Contract - Full TimePay: $25 / HourHours: 40.00Location: Sykesville, MDThe Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Geriatric Nursing Assistant performs a variety of individualized patient care activities including bathing, dressing, feeding and transporting as well as related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the geriatric patient population.Minimum Requirements:Active CNA with Geriatric Certification, required and per state/contract requirementsExperience with memory care patients, preferredOne year of geriatric nursing assistant experience preferredCurrent CPRTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functionsComplies with all relevant professional standards of practiceMust meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageBenefits At AmergisCompetitive pay & weekly paychecksHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) savings planAwards and recognition programsBenefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
