Geriatric Nursing AssistantFull Time, Non-Exempt, Essential Personnel Woodside Rehab & NursingSalary Range: $21.00 To $23.00 Hourly GNA Full Time, Part Time, & PRN Shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am Every Other WeekendWoodside Rehab & Nursing is under new management. Our Mission: to advance and redefine healthcare.Full-time Benefits:7 HolidaysGenerous PTOMedical, Dental and VisionCompany Paid Life & AD&D InsuranceVoluntary Life & AD&D InsuranceVoluntary STD & LTD Insurance401(k) immediate enrollment with matchTuition ReimbursementReferral Bonus ProgramRequired Qualifications:GNA License (CNA-1 designation is required) – current & unrestrictedHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR/BLS Certification – current2 years prior experience as a GNA in long-term care a plus!Requires proficiency in technology-driven patient care and HRIS and timekeeping/attendance software.Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.Major Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.Assists resident with or performs activities of daily living for resident in accordance with care plans and established policies and procedures.Assists resident with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.Coordinates dining room services at assigned mealtimes, including set-up and clean-up, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake.Delivers nutritional supplements to residents at assigned times and aids as necessary to ensure intake. Documents intake accordingly.Assists with weighing residents according to facility policy, and records weight in designated locations. Reports weight changes to nurse and supervisor.Assists with tracking the condition of the resident's skin. Reports any presence of pressure areas, skin breakdown or skin tears to nurse and supervisor.Assists nursing staff in carrying out toileting program activities.Completes flow sheets daily to indicate that the specified task was done. Documents the progress of each resident as directed by supervisor.Keeps nurse and supervisor informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform the work as assigned (i.e. resident refusal, reassigned to nursing unit).Reports changes in a resident's condition to the resident's nurse and supervisor.Disclaimer:Vierra Communities provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
