Job description
Providence Milwaukie Hospital is seeking a full-time Geriatric Psychiatrist to join an inpatient Behavioral Health unit in Milwaukie, Oregon. The Ideal candidate will have inpatient psychiatry experience and an interest/training in geriatric psychiatry. Be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team in a thriving community just south of Portland.
Full-time position (workweek)
Call is approximately 1:4 weekends
Overnight/phone call is 1 night per workweek
Candidate will work in rotation with the inpatient geriatric population, both on the unit and consult‑liaison as needed around the hospital. Work is conducted in the context of a treatment team collaborating with nurses, social workers, therapists, other physicians
