Job description
BJC HealthCare seeks a GI Pre-Procedural Clinical Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing GI procedures. In this role, you will complete comprehensive pre-op assessments, review histories and medications, obtain informed consent, provide patient and family education, and prepare patients for endoscopy and related GI interventions. You will collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, comfort, and readiness, while documenting accurately, following evidence-based protocols, and supporting continuous quality and process improvement.
