GI Tech Full TimeAdvanced Endoscopy Center is looking to add a Full Time GI Tech who is a team player to our Outpatient GI Center!Welcome to Advanced Endoscopy Center!As a GI Tech at Advanced Endoscopy Center, you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly-trained physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver disease. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care by providing consultations and services in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment.We take pride in our friendly and supportive work environment, where continuity and trust are nurtured through stable and long-lasting relationships with our patients. While we work collaboratively as a group, each patient is assigned a dedicated gastroenterologist, ensuring personalized care and attention.GI Tech at Advanced Endoscopy Center:Responsible for rendering professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN management procedures within the surgical center in accordance with established procedures. Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff, exhibiting teamwork characteristics. Prepares equipment and anticipates Physician and patient needs for GI procedures. Provides general maintenance of the clinical area and equipment. Oversees the GI procedures and maintains all aspects of the GI procedure area. Assessing patients prior to procedure. Document intra-procedure notes. Assist physician on all GI procedures. Prepares and maintains equipment and supplies in the GI procedure area. Cleans and maintains equipment per Center policy.Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalentMedical assistant certificationCertification in Operating Room Technology a plusOne to three years previous experience in GI Lab or Pain Management requiredCurrent BLS requiredACLS preferredKnowledge of policies and procedures specific to the OR and GIStrong Customer Service SkillsManual dexterity to handle instruments quicklyMust be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy operating room & GI lab environmentMust be able to function as a team playerPossess the ability to lift 25 poundsMust be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbalWhat We Offer:As a valued member of USPI, your health and well-being are important to us.
