GI TechnicianEndoscopy Institute of Hawaii, located in Honolulu, is looking for a full time GI Technician to join our amazing and growing team.Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii is a leading outpatient facility dedicated to providing exceptional care in gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures. Located in a state-of-the-art facility, our center combines advanced technology with a team of highly skilled professionals to deliver accurate diagnoses and effective treatments. Committed to improving digestive health, the Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii proudly serves the community with excellence and a focus on optimal outcomes.As a GI Technician/Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance. You must follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control. Additionally, you will assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures, perform daily equipment maintenance, and support the center's mission.Monday-Friday work schedule. We will train on GI/Endoscopy procedures.Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques is plus.Familiarity with clinical or surgical settingsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by AHA (or ability to obtain)We are part of a much larger team with United Surgical Partners International (USPI).
