GI Technician Medical AssistantGI Technician Medical AssistantPark Creek Surgery Center is looking for a GI Technician Medical Assistant, Full Time.Summary: Under the Director of Nursing and the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the GI Tech is responsible for providing assistance to the Physician throughout the procedure.Education/Experience:High school graduate or equivalentGI Experience preferred, Medical Assistant experience preferredPrevious clinical experience in GI procedure room environment preferredCurrent certification in CPR.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited RN School of NursingActive RN license in the stateBLS and ACLS required, PALS if required by the center2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferredAbility to make decisions based on nursing judgmentAble to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unitStrong communication skills, verbal and writtenWhat We Offer:Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverageLife and AD&D coverageAvailability of short- and long-term disabilityFlexible financial benefits including FSAs and HSAs401(k) and access to retirement planningPaid holidays and vacationWho We Are:At USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
