Gift Shop Sales AssociateUnder the supervision and guidance of the Manager, Gift Shop, this position is responsible for processing all cash/credit sales transactions in a hospital gift shop environment. Interacts daily with all levels of internal and external customers. Maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment.Essential FunctionsWelcomes and greets customers entering gift shop. Responds factually to customer questions, provides information on merchandise and gift shop policies/procedures. Refers as appropriate.Processes sales returns and merchandise exchange of gift shop items.Processes sales for customers on CounterPoint register.Accepts, receives and processes payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, employee and other debit programs.
