I understand that misrepresentation, omission of facts or falsification of the application will render the application void, or if hired, may result in immediate termination of employment.Summary: Assists guests with transactions in the hotel gift shop.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Opening and closing storeStocking, cleaning and organizingPicking up bank and returning it to the cageObtaining newspapers from the Hotel Front DeskAssist Guests with their shopping needsAnswer questions regarding the products in the shopAnswer questions regarding the property and any special functionsRing Up SalesHandling a cash drawerAssist with inventory as neededProvide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team membersPerforms other duties as assignedPosition Requirements - Qualifications:Prior retail experience preferred.High school diploma or equivalentCash handling skills.Must be at least 21 years of age.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (all software components), payroll, and hotel information systems (LMS)The primary language spoken is English; ability to read, write, understand and speak English.Strong interpersonal skillsObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesWork Environment:Frequently required to walk and stand for long periods. Use hands to hold tools utilized for position. Reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The work environment is characterized as a casino setting requiring multi-tasking, where computers and standard office equipment will be supplied and used as a part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud requiring service to guests who may be smoking and/or drinking alcohol.
