Job Description
nInsight Global is seeking a General Ledger Accountant for a top client. This candidate will play a key role in the organization's accounting function by supporting month-end close activities, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP experience, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to contribute to a collaborative team while gaining exposure to high-impact financial operations.
nDay-to-Day:
nPrepare and post journal entries for month-end close
nPerform balance sheet and account reconciliations
nAnalyze GL activity and investigate discrepancies
nSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
nPartner with finance and business stakeholders on accounting matters
nAssist with internal and external audit requests
nMaintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures
nUtilize SAP to manage and analyze accounting transactions

nSkills and Requirements
nMust-Haves:
n3+ years of General Ledger (GL) accounting experience
nHands-on experience with SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA)
nStrong understanding of month-end and year-end close processes
nExperience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
nProficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
nKnowledge of GAAP accounting principles
nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
