Glazier Apprentice and Glass Installer Helper
Join our dynamic team as a Glazier Apprentice and Glass Installer Helper, where you will gain hands-on experience in the glass installation industry while supporting skilled professionals. Key Responsibilities:
Assist experienced glaziers and glass installers in measuring and installing glass and related materials
Prepare work sites by cleaning, setting up tools, glass, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Handle and transport glass panels carefully to prevent damage
Support the installation of Hardware, doors, mirrors, storefronts, curtainwall, and specialty glass
Follow instructions and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report any issues
Learn and adhere to industry standards and building codes
Skills and Qualifications:
Willingness to learn and develop skills in glass installation and glazing
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
Attention to detail and safety consciousness
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required
Valid driver’s license is required
-Must be able to drive to various job site in the DC metro area or meet with partner to carpool in company van

Job site hours can vary based on project schedule
Mostly Monday-Friday at times Saturday work will be required to catch up on projects.
