Global Corporate Controller
The Global Corporate Controller is a key finance leader responsible for strengthening financial operations, ensuring reporting integrity, and supporting profitable growth across U.S. and international entities.
Reporting to the CFO, this role oversees global accounting operations, financial reporting, consolidations, and compliance. The position is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, maintaining effective internal controls, supporting U.S. GAAP and applicable IFRS compliance, and improving management reporting, KPIs, and financial systems.
This leader should combine strong technical accounting expertise with a hands-on, business-minded approach. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and able to turn financial results into actionable insights for executive leadership while partnering effectively across functions and geographies.
As the organization continues to expand, this role will also help enhance processes, scale systems, and build the financial infrastructure needed to support future growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the global accounting function, including team leadership, coaching, and development.
Oversee the monthly close, consolidations, and internal financial reporting across multiple domestic and international entities.
Analyze financial results, investigate trends and variances, and provide insights to senior leadership.
Support budgeting, forecasting, reforecasting, and cash flow planning.
Develop and refine company-wide KPIs and management reporting.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable IFRS standards; evaluate and implement accounting policy updates.
Oversee accounting operations, intercompany activity, and financial controls across subsidiaries.
Strengthen internal controls, reporting accuracy, and risk mitigation processes.
Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting processes, and scalability.
Coordinate annual audits and serve as a key liaison with external auditors.
Support tax and statutory compliance in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain oversight of inventory accounting and related controls.
Assist with acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration of accounting, reporting, and ERP processes.
Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and special projects.
Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including controllership or financial reporting leadership.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting in multi-entity environments; IFRS exposure preferred.
Experience supporting international subsidiaries, consolidations, foreign currency, and intercompany accounting.
Background in manufacturing, distribution, or another operationally complex environment preferred.
Proven ability to lead teams while remaining hands-on when needed.
Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.
Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems, along with advanced Excel skills.
