Job description
Corning is seeking a Materials Engineer to lead raw material cost reduction initiatives for optical cables on a global scale. You will apply materials expertise and engineering rigor to improve manufacturing processes, develop substitution roadmaps, and deliver measurable cost and quality outcomes.
The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, or Polymer Engineering, with 5+ years in manufacturing and strong data analysis skills.
