Job description

Checkr, Inc. is seeking a Director of Tax in San Francisco to build and lead the tax function, reporting to the Controller and partnering with Legal, Accounting, FP&A, and Treasury. This role shapes tax strategy, governance, and readiness for a growth company transitioning to a public company.

The candidate will drive US federal/state tax, transfer pricing, and indirect tax, while coordinating with external auditors and Corporate Development on M&A tax matters. In-office work is expected in SF.
