Job description

Our client is seeking a GNC Controls Engineer to join their dedicated engineering team. As a GNC Controls Engineer, you will be an integral part of the development and implementation of advanced control systems supporting cutting-edge ground vehicle projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: GNC Controls Engineer

Location: Dallas, Texas (Onsite)

What's the Job?

Solve challenging controls and localization problems using state-of-the-art techniques. Develop simulations to validate and optimize controls designs. Collaborate with a team of engineers to implement and validate controls solutions on unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). Design, develop, and supervise all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. Document designs, analysis, and test results in detailed reports and publications. What's Needed?

Master's or PhD degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Controls and Localization. 4-7 years of relevant industry experience. Proficiency in StateSpace Control, Localization, and State-of-the-Art Controllers. Experience designing controls and localization algorithms, along with detailed documentation skills. Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, and ROS. What's in it for me?
