Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist supports the growth and success of students across all grade levels, from kindergarten through high school. This contract role is available for a dedicated OT who can step in as soon as possible and provide coverage through the end of the school year, with potential for extension into July. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience working within school systems is strongly preferred
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
Comfort working with diverse student populations spanning grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt therapy plans as needed
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12, promoting their participation and success in school activities
Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and document student progress
Consult and collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom
Deliver both individual and group sessions, tailored to each student's unique needs
Maintain timely and organized records, adhering to compliance standards and reporting requirements
