About This Role
The Graduate Registered Nurse Anesthetist (GRNA) position involves administering anesthesia under the supervision of a physician anesthesiologist for various surgical and obstetrical procedures. This role is ideal for those looking to work in a dynamic environment with patients of all age groups.

What You'll Do
Administer anesthesia to all age groups.
Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures.
Comply with organizational rules, policies, and procedures.
Evaluate patients pre-operatively by interviewing and examining them.
Review charts for relevant information.
Collaborate with MD to select anesthetic based on pre-operative examination.
Demonstrate understanding of cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological maturation processes.
Monitor the patient intraoperatively.
Evaluate operative and post-operative condition of patients and take necessary actions.
Maintain an accurate accounting of controlled substances.
Requirements
Education
Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Experience
Experience in anesthesia preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
Current RN License in California.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
