Job description
Grain Mill OperatorThe Grain Mill Operator will actively monitor operations to ensure quality control and maintain smooth operation. They will also be responsible for running and maintaining boilers, and roller mills, and performing preventative maintenance. This position will be responsible for assisting with all operations including operating a loader. Responsible for ensuring the output of high-quality flaked grains. Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with feed safety regulations. Document production data, equipment performance, and inventory levels. Monitor grain and product inventory, ensuring proper storage to prevent spoilage. This position reports to the Elevator Manager.Overview of the role: Operate and maintain grain milling and steam equipment to process grains into flakes.
