Now Hiring: Graphic Designer / Prepress TechnicianPay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM Bring Designs to Life from Concept to PrintWe are seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Prepress Technician to join a fast-paced print production environment. This role combines graphic design, file preparation, and prepress responsibilities to ensure customer projects are production-ready and meet the highest quality standards. You'll work on a variety of materials including brochures, catalogs, signs, marketing pieces, mail campaigns, and other printed products.Key ResponsibilitiesReview customer-supplied artwork, layouts, and files to ensure print readinessCreate and modify designs using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and AcrobatIdentify and resolve issues related to fonts, images, colors, bleeds, margins, and page layoutsCommunicate with customers, project managers, and production teams to resolve artwork and file concernsPrepare press-ready files through imposition, crop marks, and proper file formattingPerform basic troubleshooting and quality checks to ensure accurate outputManage and organize electronic files for efficient production workflowsAssist with graphic design projects and layout creation as requestedMaintain accuracy while working in a deadline-driven production environmentQualificationsExperience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat)Previous experience in graphic design, prepress, print production, sign production, or a related fieldUnderstanding of print-ready file preparation and production workflowsStrong attention to detail, organization, and color accuracyAbility to multitask and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working in both Windows and Mac environmentsStrong communication and customer service skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team environmentPreferred QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related fieldExperience in a print shop, sign shop, mailing environment, or digital print productionWorking knowledge of Fiery Command WorkstationExperience with wide-format, digital printing, or PDF/X workflowsPortfolio of relevant design work (freelance experience accepted)The ideal candidate is creative, technically skilled, and highly organized.
