nAs a Graphic Design, Video Production & Multimedia Intern, you'll support a variety of projects that may include:
nnnDesigning graphics, infographics, presentations, digital signage, newsletters, and marketing materials for internal and external audiences
n
nnAssisting with video production projects, including filming, lighting, audio setup, editing, motion graphics, and post-production
n
nnCreating visual content for employee communications, customer communications, social media, recruiting initiatives, and corporate marketing campaigns
n
nnSupporting photography and videography at company events, community activities, employee recognition programs, and business initiatives
n
nnDeveloping short-form and long-form video content for social media, the intranet, digital displays, and executive communications
n
nnCreating animations, motion graphics, and multimedia assets that help simplify complex topics and enhance engagement
n
nnSupporting Central Hudson’s brand standards and visual identity across communication materials
n
nnAssisting with executive presentations, communication toolkits, annual reports, and strategic communications materials
n
nnOrganizing digital media libraries, photography archives, video footage, and creative assets
n
nnCollaborating with departments across the organization to transform business, operational, and customer topics into compelling visual stories
n
n nYou’ll work side by side with experienced communications and creative professionals who will guide you through hands-on assignments while offering insight into the utility industry. Our internship program also includes networking opportunities, professional development events, and competitive compensation.
nQualifications
nnnCurrently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Graphic Design, Digital Media Production, Multimedia Design, Visual Communications, Film & Video Production, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
n
nnCandidates must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and currently be an undergraduate student working on their bachelor’s degree in their freshman, sophomore, or junior year. Graduate students working on their master’s degree will also be considered.
n
nnExperience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects preferred
n
nnFamiliarity with Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, photography, videography, and digital content creation tools preferred
n
nnStrong creative, communication, organizational, and time-management skills
n
nnPortfolio, website, or examples of creative work preferred
n
nnMust possess a valid driver’s license
n
