Job description
Grave Shift Production WorkerCandidates for the production openings will be responsible for constructing various wooden pallets, crates, and storage units utilized by shipping and manufacturing clients. This role requires strong math skills and the ability to read and use a tape measure effectively.ResponsibilitiesConstruct wooden pallets, crates, and storage units.Work in various work stations using band saws, table saws, and circular saws.Use heavy nail guns that shoot 2-inch nails for assembly.Read and use a tape measure accurately.Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform physical tasks such as picking up, bending, and stacking materials.Essential SkillsStrong math skills.Ability to read and use a tape measure.Mechanical inclination.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience with heavy nail guns, pneumatic drills, and saws preferred.Ability to work independently or in small teams.Strong work ethic and attitude.Why Work Here?Working here offers opportunities for growth and overtime for those who demonstrate a strong work ethic. The facility is divided into several work stations with lumber surrounding these areas. Employees should be prepared to work in varying temperatures depending on the season and may work alone or in small teams of 2-3 associates.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of KENT, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
