Gravure MachinistPay: $21.00 per hour Now hiring for a Gravure Machinist Location: Florence, KY Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour Schedule: 12 Hours, 5 PM To 5 AM (Rotating Weekends) Steel, Skill, and a Steady Hand. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training in printing, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or a related field is a plus. Experience Requirements Minimum 1 year of machinery, manufacturing, or industrial equipment experience required. Previous experience as a Gravure Machinist, Printing Press Operator, Quality Inspector, or related role preferred. Knowledge of gravure printing processes, quality standards, and inspection procedures is highly desirable. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift. Capable of bending, reaching, and performing detailed visual inspections. Must be able to lift and move materials or components as needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and quality concerns. Job Duties Inspect gravure presses and related equipment to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and production standards. Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to verify equipment performance and functionality. Conduct visual and laboratory inspections of printed materials for color accuracy, registration, print quality, and defect detection. Document inspection results and certify equipment and printed products meet customer and company quality requirements. Evaluate and inspect key press components, including plate cylinders, inking systems, and drying units. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
