Part-Time GreenskeeperAlhambra Golf Course, located in Alhambra, CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Compensation: $16.90 - $19.00 per hourJob SummaryThe Greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skillsMust be highly organized, efficient and detail orientedMust possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf courseMust possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenanceSkilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovationMust be dependableResponsibilities:Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facilityMows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areasWaters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional waterRepairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessaryGrades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairwaysTrims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower bedsApplies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf coursePerforms related duties as assigned by supervisor or managerBenefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:Healthcare Benefits – Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement)Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.About Troon: Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
