Job description
Eccalon in Hanover, Maryland is seeking a motivated Battery Storage Engineer to spearhead research and development of cutting-edge battery technologies. This position focuses on enhancing energy densities and safety for grid-scale energy storage systems. The ideal candidate will drive collaboration among engineers and scientists, contribute to innovative battery chemistries, and evaluate lifecycle performance.
The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline and 3+ years of hands-on experience in battery R&D. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. and familiarity with DOE-funded programs.
