Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, and team-oriented Grill Cook for its rewarding team at Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn. We are hiring for Full Time!
Essential Functions:
* Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
* Prepares and cooks meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, and other food products according to established recipes and quality standards.
* Operates and maintains grills, broilers, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
* Monitors cooking times, temperatures, and product quality to ensure food is cooked to the proper specifications.
* Maintains consistency in portion sizes, doneness, seasoning, temperature, and presentation of all food products.
* Recognize quality standards in fresh vegetables, fish, dairy, and meat products.
* Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, and all storage areas.
* Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen Manager.
* Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition.
* Handle food in a manner that is consistent with local health department guidelines.
* Follow proper food handling techniques and coordinates the use of time, material and equipment to avoid waste and unnecessary expense.
* Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene.
* Comply with departments dress code.
* Follow safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the supervisor.
* Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
* Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, mornings, evenings.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Well developed and multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detailed oriented.
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
* Candidate must be dependable and reliable.
* Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by manager.

* The employee is frequently required to stand and walk
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision & focus

* Kitchen environment
* The noise level in this office is usually moderate to high
Education and Experience :
* High school diploma and or equivalent
* Bilingual in Spanish a plus, however, not required
