Grinder/Machine Operator – 2nd ShiftGreeneville, TN15.00 per hourMonday– Thursday, 4: 30 PM– 2: 00 AMTemp-to-HireWe Are Seeking A Dependable And Hardworking Grinder/Machine Operator To Join A Growing Machine Shop Team!This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing or machining experience who is looking for steady work and long-term employment.Schedule & Training2nd shift: Monday– Thursday, 4: 30 PM– 2: 00 AMMust be available to train on 1st shift until released to 2nd shift.Training schedule and duration will be determined by the employer.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate grinding machines and other shop equipment safely and efficiently.Load and unload parts into machines.Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed.Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.Perform deburring, grinding, and finishing operations to meet quality standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.Complete production paperwork and quality checks as required.RequirementsPrevious experience in a machine shop, manufacturing, grinding, or machine operation preferred.Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and measurements.Experience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Ability to lift and move materials as required.Must be willing to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.Excellent attendance and punctuality are a must.Steady work history and reliable employment record required.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Why Join Us?Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential.Consistent Monday– Thursday schedule.Opportunity to develop and advance your machining skills.If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to build a career in manufacturing, we want to hear from you!
