Grinder Operator - Cleveland, OHSalary Range: $18.00- $20.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with BenefitsThis entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude looking to learn specialized machine operations, including cylindrical grinders and edge bevelers, used to produce and recondition industrial circular cutting blades.ResponsibilitiesOperate specialized industrial equipment (cylindrical grinders, edge bevelers) to manufacture and recondition 10-inch circular cutting blades.Follow a structured three-step machining process across distinct equipment setups.Measure and inspect finished workpieces using tape measures, scales, micrometers, and dial calipers.Interpret mechanical engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure precision tolerances.Maintain a clean, organized work area and strictly adhere to workplace safety protocols.Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including eye protection, hearing protection, and dust masks in an active grinding environment.QualificationsBasic familiarity with manual machine tools and standard mechanical operations.Ability to properly use and read micrometers, dial calipers, scales, and tape measures.Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings.Strong reliability, attention to detail, organization, and solid communication skills.Comfort working in an industrial environment with noise, sparks, and consistent PPE usage.Entry-level candidates with a foundational mechanical skill set willing to undergo comprehensive hands-on training are encouraged to apply.BenefitsComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plansPaid Time Off (PTO) and accrued vacation timeCompany-sponsored profit-sharing retirement planHands-on training, ongoing skill development, and career advancement opportunities in a stable, long-standing manufacturing environmentCandidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
