Job description
Grinder OperatorWe are currently recruiting for a Grinder Operator in our Manufacturing operation.Interpret daily production schedule.Set grinder specification per product recipeComplete daily shift reportsMeet and consistently attain daily grinding production goalsPerform quality checks with testing instruments and record resultsRecord all grind results in logs and reportRecord start and stop time of each grind, as well as the time at which the ground beans will have completed an appropriate gas-off periodCommunicate with roaster and packaging operators regarding progress on daily scheduleReport all nonconforming product to shift supervisor or quality assurance labCommunicate regularly with SchedulerPerform other duties as assignedExperience operating computer automated controls in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work independently and as team member with little direct supervisionAbility to multi-taskUnderstanding of OSHA, GMPs and SQF requirements in a food manufacturing environmentGood oral and written communication skillsGood basic math skillsIntermediate computer skillsForklift/Pallet Jack certification, or ability to become certifiedGood leadership skillsEqual Opportunity Employer / Vets / Disabled
