Overview
nTurner Staffing Group is hiring Ground Crew / Maintenance Technicians to support a mining operation in Hinkley, California. This role is essential to keeping the site running efficiently by supporting equipment maintenance, performing general labor tasks, and assisting operators and supervisors with day-to-day operations.
nThis is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who are hands-on, dependable, and looking to grow within the mining or heavy equipment industry.
nKey Responsibilities
nnAssist with routine maintenance and basic repairs on heavy equipment and plant machinery
nPerform general labor duties including cleanup, shoveling, and site housekeeping
nSupport equipment operators and maintenance personnel as needed
nConduct inspections and report wear, damage, or safety concerns
nAssist with fueling, greasing, and servicing equipment
nMaintain clean and organized work areas
nFollow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations
nWork in and around active mining equipment safely and efficiently
n nQualifications
nnMechanical aptitude or prior maintenance experience preferred
nExperience in mining, quarry, construction, or industrial environments is a plus
nValid driver's license required
nMSHA certification (preferred; may be required prior to start)
nAbility to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
nStrong work ethic and willingness to learn
nReliable transportation and consistent attendance
