Job description
Job TitleJob Responsibilities: Assist line crews and equipment operators with daily tasks, including digging trenches, moving materials, and preparing work sites. Load and unload trucks with tools, equipment, and materials such as poles, wire, and conduits. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Perform basic flagging duties to direct traffic and ensure public and crew safety. Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations. Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors. Perform other general labor duties as assigned.Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in a construction or outdoor labor environment is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Strong commitment to safety. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one is a significant advantage. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
