Grounds Maintenance Worker | Day Shift | Charleston, WVUnited Talent Staffing is immediately hiring a Grounds Maintenance Worker in Charleston, WV. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining attractive public spaces, and is comfortable using lawn and landscaping equipment.Schedule and PayMonday–Friday7:00 AM–3:00 PMPay starts at $13.00 per hourConsistent weekday scheduleJob ResponsibilitiesMaintain public grounds, green spaces, and historic parksMow grass and trim around walkways, buildings, and landscaped areasPlant and care for flowers, trees, and other greeneryTrim bushes and trees and remove weeds and vinesPick up trash, blow leaves, and keep outdoor areas cleanComplete minor repairs and general maintenance tasksSafely operate mowers, weed eaters, trimmers, tillers, and other equipmentPerform basic maintenance on mowers and groundskeeping equipmentWork efficiently to meet daily goals and departmental expectationsReport equipment problems and safety concerns to managementPosition RequirementsPrevious grounds maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or related experienceComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsExperience operating lawn and landscaping equipmentAbility to work independently and take initiativeDependable transportation and excellent attendanceAbility to follow instructions and adapt to changing prioritiesClear and respectful communication skillsStrong focus on safety, efficiency, and qualityPerks and BenefitsWeekly pay through direct deposit or pay cardUnlimited referral bonuses:Earn $40 when your referral works 40 hoursEarn an additional $100 when your referral works 100 hoursMedical benefits available after 60 days on an active assignmentHow to Apply For an immediate interview:Call Text Apply online through Current Jobs at utalent.com
