Seasonal Part-Time GroundskeeperEau Claire Golf and Country Club, located in Altoona, WI, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal part-time Groundskeeper. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.General Purpose: Performs a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction. Performs semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks as required. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less.Compensation: $14.00 per hourKey Responsibilities:Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipmentRakes and maintains sand bunkers.Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).Assists with golf course set-up procedures.Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.Performs other duties as required.Minimum Qualifications:One-month related experience or training.Must have a valid driver's license.Other Qualifications:Regular and reliable attendance.This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.About Troon: Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
