Job description
Groundskeeper - Avista ResortThe grounds maintenance personnel will keep public property areas clean, safe, and organized, using equipment such as hand tools and power tools. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, collecting trash, sweeping, and wiping down outdoor items. Shift: Days & Afternoons Part-Time & Full-TimeResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Empties all trash chutes, trash cans, and parking lot as neededSweeps and power washes as neededMowing, weed eating, trimming, laying sod, planting & watering flowers, fertilizer, and other landscaping dutiesOperates the trash compactorMaintain and keep inventory on all equipmentKeep work spaces clean and hazard freePerform other light maintenance work orders as assigned such as changing light bulbs, painting, assisting in moving furniture, etc.Immediately report any building issues seen while performing daily tasksEffective and professional communication with guests and other team membersRequirements:Valid Driver's LicenseAvailable to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysPrevious experience is preferred but not requiredAble to stand for long periods of timeQualifying team members may enjoy the following benefits:Weekly PayMedical insuranceVision, Dental, Disability, Life, and Accident insurancePaid VacationPaid Bereavement401(k) & Company MatchingMyrtle Beach Seaside Resorts believes that our employees are the strength, vendors are the standard, homeowners are the prospect, and customers are the focus.
